A fun fact about The Swayze, Co. logo:
My family owned a lumber company for several years called The Big Bend Lumber Company in Big Bend, Wisconsin. I loved hanging out there and picking my favorite flavor of Bon Bon suckers out of the drawer at the front counter. The Lumber Company became my playground where my sister and I chased each other around the window and door displays while customers shopped.
I wanted a way to carry out the family company. Obviously, I'm not a lumber expert so that was out of the equation. The logo, though, is a constant reminder for me -- the font and the colors. I created The Swayze, Co. logo using the font and colors my family used for The Big Bend Lumber Company. Every time I look at it, I'm reminded of the good ole days running around eating Bon Bons with my family together.
